    As a Senior Manager of Research Solutions, you will be focused on leading a small team of Research Managers and using your knowledge of market research best practices to help the junior team members grow. In addition, you will take ownership of all aspects of your assigned projects within our quantitative project management group. This role does not include any programming, analysis, or data processing. It requires a background in questionnaire review, online quantitative survey logic link QA, fieldwork management, data cleaning, and budget management. You will successfully execute this role if you have deep experience with not only market research operational project management, but also have a proven track record of directly managing market research project managers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage a small team of Research Managers and facilitate their professional development, training, and workload.
    • Facilitate coverage of projects needing weekend support, including custom online research studies, test screenings, focus groups, exit polls, advertising surveys, etc.
    • Troubleshoot project concerns, manage escalations from Research Managers and/or client services, problem-solve, and provide solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes to expedite deliverables to internal partners and clients.
    • Special projects, assignments, and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or executive team members.
    • Monday through Friday schedule with ad hoc weekend support required. Work schedule is based on Pacific Time.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    In addition to a passion for movies and TV shows, this position specifies the following qualifications: 

    • Education & Training: 
    • BA/BS with a strong academic record and analytical background. 
    • Knowledge of MS Office & Outlook required; Experience with business-related software such as Decipher preferred
    • Internet-savvy with an ability to independently problem-solve issues by using online resources. 
    • Previous Experience:  
    • Minimum four years of supplier-side market research experience required.
    • Minimum two to three years of people management experience required.
    • Experience with various online quantitative market research methodologies required; experience with entertainment market research preferred.
    • Experience managing research projects independently from start to finish, including managing tasks, delegating effectively, and adhering to timelines/deadlines; experience managing quick-turn entertainment quantitative research preferred.
    • Knowledgeable of research operations concepts such as sampling, survey programming/QA, and data processing required.
    • An understanding of effective survey design and the ability to create questionnaires to meet varying research needs are required. 
    • Professional Skills: 
    • Strong leadership, collaboration, interpersonal, and analytical skills. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; advanced proofreading, editing, and writing-for-clarity skills.
    • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
    • Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly, as well as adapt to new/evolving processes.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Your primary workspace will be in a home office location. You must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions. Your typical work schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday; however, at times your schedule may be altered – including working evenings, weekends, or holidays – based on the needs of the business.

    This role is currently designated as remote/hybrid in our current workplace policies. However, please note that the work arrangement may be subject to change based on company decisions, and a return to in-office work may be required in the future.
